Cody Race Series Act III
Here it is again folks.....Stop #10 on the Iowa Cup Series and your chance to take home a HUMMER... yes sir ree...those who raced with use last year had a ball. Was it the great competition? the fabulous prizes? or, the US Navy Blue Angels flying overhead?... who knows but everyone had a great time! Though we regret to say the Blue Angles won't be with us this year... so we'll have to settle for racing beneath the pride of the US Air Force, the USAF Thunderbirds and all the other attractions of the Quad Cities Air Show going on overhead from our race course. This year we've added some new features: We are offing a SPECIAL race just for the 10-14 Juniors who will race 8 laps of the Hummer Hammer in their very own event. There will be the highly prized HUMMER Trophies and special prizes for each and every 10-14 racer.... so bring your daughters and sons and get them involved in the racing. It will be an experience that they'll never forget Master, this year you will race heads up with the best in Iowa. in our OPEN FEATURE... team tactics will apply as everyone will be competing for the OPEN prize money. Masters will have an additional prize purse and separate trophies will be awarded in each Category. The Open event is the points race for Cat 1,2,3, and Masters categories for both IBRA and Iowa Cup points.
ACT 3 HUMMER HAMMER Criterium Sunday June 3rd 2007 Mount Joy, Iowa I-80 & US-61 near Davenport, Iowa Course is a fast 1 mile "T" shape loop over the wide lanes of the Iowa Research, Commerce, and Technology Park. (Course closed to traffic)
